Big Paws Large Breed Rescue is currently in urgent need of Foster Homes and Community Service Workers. We cannot save these gentle giants without a place for them to stay and hands to help care for them.

Surrender Fee Scale
All surrender fees are non-refundable if you change your mind for any reason. These fees help cover basic intake costs but do not include vaccinations, rabies, or crate fees.
4 to 6 Months Old: $195 6 to 12 Months Old: $220 Over 1 Year (Fixed/Neutered): $285 Over 1 Year (Not Fixed/Neutered): $385
Mandatory Additional Costs
Vaccination Fee: If the pet is not up to date on vaccines, an additional $68.00 fee is added. (Note: Rabies vaccinations must already be up to date). Crate Requirement: Your pet must come with a XXL 54" crate. If you cannot provide one, an additional $95 is required so we can purchase one from our low-cost vendor.
Surrender Instructions & Requirements
Please ensure you have the following ready before your appointment:
Documentation: You must print the surrender form, fill it out completely, and sign all required areas. Provide a copy of a valid I.D. (front and back) and clear photos of the dog.
Medical Records: You must provide the dog's shot records. All vaccines must be valid for at least 30 days after the surrender date.
Microchip: If the dog is chipped, you must show proof that the chip was deactivated at least 48 hours prior to your appointment.
Behavioral Policy: If the dog becomes aggressive or attempts to bite staff after your departure, you agree to follow return instructions and pick up the pet. The surrender fee will not be refunded.
